Sezgin Boynik, Minna L. Henriksson: Noise After Babel
This book is the result of artistic-theoretical research. It examines multilingualism as a potential ground for political engagement.
The blurb of the book is featured on the front cover in a composition reminiscent of whipping scars, Stéphane Mallarmé’s Un coup de dés, or artist Lucio Fontana’s slashed canvases. The same composition is reproduced on the back of the book, with embossed slashes replacing the printed text.
The cover design is meant to increase the physical aspect of this small paperback, while proposing a link between the topic of the book and the act of printing.
